The trip shapes the order

Trucks run via Sheikh Zayed Road or Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, both heavy at peak hours. We dose a retarder for the expected travel time and set the slump for the hour of the pour, so the concrete arrives workable. If your start slips by two hours, call us before the trucks are loaded, not after.

What a townhouse or villa needs, in order

Blinding, about 50 mm, for clean footings. Footings and ground beams: add them up element by element as length x width x depth. Ground slab: a 150 m2 slab at 200 mm is 30 m3, three trucks. First floor and roof slabs of similar size, each with a pump booked. Screed inside once services are run.

Then the external works contractor arrives: boundary walls, driveway bases, paths, small garden structures. These are 3 to 10 m3 pours; group several into one truck where you can.

Fresh slabs on the desert edge

Many plots here are still open to wind and sun, which dry exposed slabs quickly. Plastic shrinkage cracking appears within hours if curing starts late. Have curing compound or covers ready, and pour early in summer, especially if your specification limits placing temperature.

Before the truck arrives

Community and developer rules often govern contractor access, delivery hours and truck routes here. Check with them, register the delivery and give us the gate details. Then confirm on site: formwork and steel inspected, pump position firm, the plot entrance clear, and a crew ready. Our booms reach 43 m to 57 m, more than a low-rise needs, so the pump can stand back from narrow plot frontages. Leave space for the truck to wash out its chute where the community allows it, and keep a person at the gate to guide each mixer to the pump.
