Dubai Creek Harbour concrete supplier for waterfront towers

Creek Harbour is one of the longer runs from our Al Quoz plant, about 14 km in a straight line. For a tower contractor that distance shapes the mix design and the delivery rhythm.

Distance changes the mix, not only the schedule

Trucks reach the site by Ras Al Khor Road or Al Khail Road, both busy at peak hours. Concrete loaded in Al Quoz must still be workable on discharge, so we dose a retarder for the expected travel time and set the slump target for the hour of the pour. Tell us the real start time, not a hopeful one. A raft programmed for 22:00 that starts at 01:00 needs a different dose.

Substructure on the creek edge

The ground here is coastal with shallow, saline groundwater carrying chlorides and sulphates. Piles, pile caps, rafts and basement walls use exposure-designed mixes: GGBS blends, low water/cement ratio, the cover and exposure class written by your consultant. Send that specification with your first enquiry so trial mixes can be agreed before piling starts.

Estimate raft volume as length x width x depth. A 40 x 30 m raft at 2 m is 2,400 m3, or 200 truckloads at 12 m3 each. At that scale the order is a programme, not a phone call: truck intervals, two pump positions, a standby pump, and a plan for what happens if one breaks down.

Blinding, slabs and screed above ground

Blinding goes down before the raft steel, typically 50 to 75 mm. It is a small order that holds up a large one, so book it early.

For superstructure slabs, our boom pumps reach 43 m to 57 m and placing booms take over on upper floors. Confirm the pump line and placing boom are erected before calling off the first truck. Screed for apartment floors follows later in smaller batches, often to several floors in one day; give us a floor-by-floor schedule.

Before you confirm a pour

Check delivery hours and the truck route with the master developer, who manages access inside the community. In summer, check the placing-temperature limit in your specification and plan large pours for night.

Ordering in Dubai Creek Harbour follows our standard readymix concrete Dubai process: the mix, the volume, the pour window.

Questions from Dubai Creek Harbour sites

Is Creek Harbour too far for large pours?
No, but distance means the retarder and slump are set for travel time, and truck intervals have to allow for traffic on Ras Al Khor Road.
What exposure class should I use for piles here?
The one your consultant specifies. We design the mix to meet it once we have the specification.
