External works are concrete jobs too

Pool shells, pool decks, paving bases, garden walls, planters, pergola footings and driveways. Each is small, often 3 to 15 m3, and often more than one is poured on the same day. Group them into one delivery plan rather than four separate calls, and sequence the truck so the furthest element from the gate is poured first.

Rough volumes: a driveway base of 60 m2 at 150 mm is 9 m3. A pool shell is usually sprayed: ask us about gunite and have the nozzleman and spraying pump booked before the truck leaves.

Community rules come first

Dubai Hills Estate is a gated community, and the master developer sets contractor access, delivery hours and truck routes. Register your contractor and the delivery with the community before you book the concrete, and give us the gate details. A truck turned away at the gate is concrete you pay for and cannot use.

Trucks reach the estate via Al Khail Road and Umm Suqeim Street. Short distance does not mean a fixed journey time; peak traffic varies it.

For the villa itself

If you are building or extending a villa rather than finishing one, the order runs blinding, footings, ground slab, upper slab, roof, screed. The ground is inland, without coastal saline groundwater, but your engineer still sets the substructure specification.

Boom pumps reach 43 m to 57 m. In a villa community the issue is where the outriggers can go without damaging new kerbs or neighbours' landscaping; protect the ground under them. Put down timber pads or steel plates, and agree with the community who inspects the verge afterwards. Washout is another point to settle in advance: the truck needs a designated place to rinse its chute, and a new community will not accept that on the road.
